Hilliard Ohio
General - Hilliard is one of the fastest growing areas in all of Central Ohio. Residents are offered spectacular amenities including an ambitious parks and recreation program, a public school system rated very high by Ohio standards, exceptional public services, and community living rarely found in cities today. Hilliard is conveniently located on the northwest side of Columbus and is attractive to families seeking gracious living with an easy commute to Columbus business centers. Hilliard experienced a housing explosion in recent years due to its location and available land for new home building. As a result, many of the neighborhoods offer newer homes in a school system ranked very high in the state of Ohio. Hilliard's historic downtown area offers many unique shopping opportunities and balances the new growth with a strong link to the past.
Neighborhoods - A wide variety of housing is available, including apartments, condominiums, and traditional single family homes. Styles range from the nineteenth century flavor and beauty of old Hilliard to the contemporary grace of homes overlooking scenic Griggs Reservoir. Homes built in the 60's and 70's can be purchased from $120,000 to $200,000 and newer homes will range from $180,000 to $350,000. There is a smaller market of homes from $350,000 to $500,000.
